AO is a Netherlands based practice on Organization Development. OD is a systematic change effort using behavioural science knowledge and skill to transform organization(s) to a new state of development and performance. The core of our professional work within this field of OD concerns the dynamics of multi-party collaboration in public sector reform and decentralization. Over the years we have worked in a variety of international projects often aimed at strengthening collaboration and the ‘community base’ of public services in (candidate) EU member states mainly in Central and South-East Europe. Strengthening interagency collaboration between the educational, healthcare and social sectors are a prerequisite to better address community and individual needs of Europe’s citizens. On these issues of inter-organizational change and capacity building we are happy to share our experiences and practices with you.
